Our classes and workshops offer women the opportunity to learn more about certain aspects of their health, ask questions, and develop personal plans for promoting health and preventing illness. Class instructors are experts in their fields and often are faculty from UCSF who specialize in a particular area of women's health.
The Resource Center is also intimately involved in the planning and implementation of the annual Women's Health 2020 conference. This day long event is held every March and gives women the opportunity to learn about many different aspects of their health and well-being, hear about leading research findings in the field, and re-evaluate their health care priorities and strategies. It is a special day for women throughout the Bay Area to come together in an interactive and supportive environment to celebrate their health. Sign up on our mailing list to receive a conference flyer this year.
Descriptions of our current classes & workshops are provided below. Please call the Resource Center at (415) 353-2668 to find out when they are being offered, to register, or to obtain more information.
