The UCSF National Center of Excellence is now accepting applications for the 2010 "Getting Women In" Internship Program (GWI). This pipeline program is designed to provide opportunities for learning and skill development for high school girls and college women interested in women's health. Through paid internships, participants will learn about and contribute to the field of women's health. Please share this information with your students.
The internship cycle is from January 25, 2010 - May 31, 2010 and August 30, 2010 - December 17, 2010. Interns remain in the program for the entire calendar year although there is a break during the summer. The total internship time commitment is approximately 8 hours per week:

Eligibility: Currently enrolled in high school or college. Minimum age - 16 years.
Selection Process: Applications will be reviewed by a committee. Some applicants will be selected for interviews.
