UCSF National Center of Excellence in Women's Health Executive Director Dixie Horning was recognized with a proclamation from the San Francisco Commission on the Status of Women on Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Ms. Horning is a tireless leader in promoting Women's Health with extensive experience as a community organizer. Her efforts in public policy design, organizational development and management and staff motivation have born significant results. The CoE itself is a thriving example of Ms. Horning's imprint.
Ms. Horning's years of dedication to public service will also be recognized on May 21, 2010 during the annual UCSF Founders Day Celebration where she will receive the 2010 Chancellor's Award for Public Service in the staff category.
